Education Planning

The Education planning calculator will show the lump sum investment or regular annual contribution required to cover the costs of primary, secondary, and higher education and any initial costs together with the potential provision of a deposit for a first home purchase.

The lump sum & regular investment depends upon the level of fees required, and the expected net growth rate of investment return that is input.

Download the Education Template to assist in collating the required information.

You can also input the lump sum available and any additional regular annual contributions to establish the impact on fees that can be provided.

Output

On the input screen, the cash flow position is shown as a bar chart – green indicating the fees paid, and red as a shortfall.

There is also a separate tab showing the fees and cash flow position in figures.

The calculator allows for details of up to 3 children to be input.
